""The celebration of good over evil", Western Consciousness, will again take place at the Llandilo Cultural Centre, Sav-la-mar, on Saturday, April 26, 2008. It will be the 20th staging of the event, making it the longest running Reggae Music event of its kind in Jamaica.
King of Kings Promotions has stood the test of time, and has provided a staple diet of top class reggae over the years. Two years ago, Grammy winner Lee "Scratch" Perry graced the stage. Last year, it was Kenyatta Hill, giving a fabulous tribute to his late fater Joseph Hill aka "Culture".
This year the audience will experience on stage "Ras Moses" aka Bennie Man, Buju Banton, Anthony B, Bushman, Richie Spice, Queen Ifrica, Etana, George Nooks, Turbulence, Courtney John, Brigadier Jerry, Josey Wales and many more. King of Kings promotions has prepared for another conscious party out west, as Llandilo Cultural Centre in Sav-la-mar comes alive for the landmark staging of Western Consciousness on Saturday, April 26, 2008.
The launch of the 20th anniversay of Western Consciousness took place at the Talk of the Town, The Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, in Kingston on Wednesday, April, 2, 2008.
