Consciousness will be
staged at the Llandilo
Cultural Centre in Sav-la-mar
on Saturday, April 26,
2008. joyfully celebrating
20 years - a milestone.
This show in western Jamaica
is acknowledged throughout
the industry as one of
the longest running live
events of its kind in
Reggae Music. An achievement
of great magnitud e for
Promoter Worrell King.
This
year's western line-up
includes the "Driver"
of the Stage-coach Buju
Banton, riding shotgun
is "Ras Moses"
aka Bennie Man, 6 Stallions
include Anthony B, Gushman,Richie
Spice, George Nooks, Turbulance
and Courtney John, with
two outriders Queen Ifrica
and Etana. Following not
far behind is Sherriff
Josey Wales and Marshall
Brigadier Jerry. The Battle
is set for Sundown at
the Llandio Cultural Centre
in Sav-la-mar.
The
launch of the 20th anniversay
of Western Consciousness
took place at the
Talk of the Town, The
Jamaica Pegasus Hotel,
in Kingston on Wednesday,
April, 2, 2008.
