About Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall

Launched on TVJ in 2008, Magnum Kings & Queens of Dancehall showcases fresh Jamaican dancehall talent through an interactive competition filmed live in Kingston.

The program’s mission is to discover authentic Jamaican performers and give the winning King and Queen tools to help build viable careers as dancehall artistes. The sixth season was hosted by Yanique Barrett, with Cordell “Scatta” Burrell, Miss Kitty and Professor Nuts returning as judges.
